Oiled Cowhide Leaf (MEDIUM)

Oiled cowhide leaves, is made of cowhide, specifically we use steers for this 100% vegetable finish and we take care of every detail in its tanning.

As with all vegetable leathers, this product has to be made in a very artisanal way and above all, we have to measure the times of the different processes that it has to go through in tanning and final finishing.

Elaborated based on natural fats that we apply as if it were the secret recipe of the grandmother we get to make a perfect meat since it is what we are interested in taking care of, here the flower passes to a second plane.

Its destination has always been for the saddlery, and especially for the manufacture of handmade footwear, hence its use by the meat, as it is much more resistant than the flower and when it comes to scratches and others can be repaired without major problem by applying grease on the surface of the shoe or boot to cover those defects that occur during use.

We commercialize this leather in half skins of calf. The thicknesses we handle range from 1.2mm to 2mm.

The color is basic, natural color (toasted) or dyed (brown).
